Projects

Chakana works on different kinds of projects in several regions. All projects aim at helping the local population to strengthen their methods of surviving.

This can be increasing the food production by using greenhouses, irrigation systems and a better management of cattle stock; or creating access to the market (thus a regular income) by setting up a small handicraft industry. Also people are trained in small business.

Projects are financed through project financing, structural financing and/or sponsorships.
