Cooperation between Chakana Bolivia and JICA

Chakana Bolivia and the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) are discussing the possibility of establishing a strategic alliance in Patacamaya. Once formed, the alliance will execute an agricultural-ecological education project in the communities of Cala Cala and Capanuta. Such a cooperation would also be in line with Chakana's goal of complementary working agreements with other organisations. At present, irrigational systems are being constructed in the communities of Cala Cala and Capanuta. Upon completion of the construction agricultural-ecological trainings will start.
