Financial agreement with the municipality Achocalla for the water for irrigation project
On the 23th of April, the contract for the cooperation on local development was signed including different communities in the municipality of Achocalla. This was due, thanks to both collective and individual strengths.
After a word of thanks of the municipality committee of Tuni, the members Chakana were invited to visit the first drillings of the project. After that, the contract was signed both by the mayor of Achocalla and the executive director of Chakana, Hernán Huaycho P.
This event is very special for Chakana, not only because it is the start signal for the projects in this area, but also because this is the first time that Chakana has signed a financing agreement with the municipal authorities of Achocalla.
Finally, the delegates of Chakana were invited for a common meal (aptapi), from which they enjoyed together with the enthusiastic and grateful inhabitants of the different communities.
Chakana wants to wish the municipality of Achochalla all the bests and is looking forward to a successful cooperation!
